Band Management
As of 2008, Pop Records Inc. formed a Business Partnership with a long standing associate of over 20 years, Debbie "W" Wilkinson, the owner of an International Management Company, called Five Rocks Management, that is based out of New Orleans, LA in the United States.
FUTURE INTENT
- Instead of offering the standard Record Label contract, offering a two year "Recoupment Deal," both Pop Records Inc and Five Rocks Management are intent on securing Major Endorsements, leading to Merchandise Sponsorships, and ultimately developing a Custom Tour Itinerary, based on the appropriate geographical market for the type of music involved..
My private contract work is by consultation only and I am listed in Music BC Online directory. I can be flexible and depending on the nature of the contract work, can either charge a flat fee or request a deposit towards my hours, if the assignment will be lengthy. ~ Linda
Artist Development
A new (third) business associate Gail Hammond, a Film and Music Business Graduate of Pacific Audio Visual Institute is working towards Promoting bands, involving TV and Film and will be at a later time, working with Electronic Press Kits. She is presently assisting Linda as an active talent scout for the label.
SEEKING ACTS: Currently looking for three more bands to either manage or promote:
- Must have mastered CD, band Bio w/color marquis glossy.
- Must have own gear, songwriting experience, some recording experience and NO EXCESS BAGGAGE and be prepared to "walk the walk" not just "talk the talk."
- We do not follow format; however, we cater to the following Genre of Independent original bands: Alternative, Hardcore, Punk, Metal, Rock
